Spotify Opens Istanbul Office, Strengthening Türkiye Strategy
Spotify has officially opened its Istanbul office, reinforcing its long-term commitment to Türkiye’s fast-growing music market and strengthening collaboration with artists, industry stakeholders, and cultural partners.
Spotify has officially opened its new office in İstanbul, marking a significant step in the company’s long-term strategy to deepen its presence in Türkiye’s rapidly expanding creative and digital music ecosystem.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior Turkish officials, including Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Gökhan Yazgı, along with representatives from the Copyrights Directorate General, the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), and Spotify’s global and regional leadership, as well as key figures from the music industry.
Strategic Role of the Istanbul Office
The new Istanbul hub is designed to bring Spotify closer to Türkiye’s music ecosystem, including artists, record labels, policymakers, and cultural stakeholders. The office will focus on:
